HHHH
is a lovely modern home situated one mile from the Hunter Mountain
Ski Lodge on Main Street in the Village of Hunter. There are six
bedrooms with two beds in each room and there are three full bathrooms.
As is customary in a B & B, all facilities are shared by the
guests. The home is ideal not only for small groups of friends and
family but for anyone who wishes to enjoy a relaxed and pleasant
atmosphere without the worry of providing kosher food.
This
B & B serves three kosher meals a day Under the supervision of Rabbi Dr. Moshe E. Bomzer, Rav HaMachshir of the Vaad HaKashruth of the Capitol District (Albany, NY). The hot breakfast and lunch are
dairy (cholev yisroel available on request) and dinners are meat
meals. All meals are included in the cost of the room based upon
two guests in a room. Shabbos packages are available.
There
are many activities in addition to skiing that attract thousands
of people to the Hunter Mountain area. Seasonal sports such as hiking,
biking and golfing in addition to horseback riding, fishing, various
ski activities, antiquing, country auctions and craft fairs spark
diverse interests. Ski Windham, and Cortina Valley are located nearby.
HHHH
is located near a beautiful landmark shul. The 90 year old sanctuary
is a marvelous example of turn of the century handcrafted woodwork.
There is a balcony for the women and the davening is Minhag and
Nusach Aschkenaz. The availability of a minyan during the week or
on Shabbos is not guaranteed. During the months of July and August
a Shabbos and Daily minyan are generally available.
